Welcome to our blog! We’re glad you stopped by! We are two sisters who can most often be found with our noses buried inside a good book.
Tia works in a middle school library and Cara is a preschool teacher. While young adult is our favorite, we do read a bit of juvenile and the occasional adult. Our favorite genres are thrillers, suspense, and speculative fiction. This goes for movies, too. Anything creepy, weird, and on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense is by far our cup of tea.
Our goal for this blog is to create an immersive experience with literature. More than just reading stories, we want to taste and touch them. Literally. When stories mention delicious foods or fun crafty activities, we recreate them and share them with you so we can all dive into the stories we love in every possible way. We’ll also post book reviews, so you can explore titles you may not have ever heard of.
We hope to make this blog into a sort of go-to hangout for all things books. A haven, as we like to call it.
