- 4 whole, fresh strawberries rinsed clean
- 2 slices bread white or whole wheat
- 1 tbsp peanut butter more or less, to taste (any kind)
- 1/2 tbsp jelly more or less, to taste (any flavor)
- 1 wooden skewer
Cut the top off the strawberries and take out the hull by using a sharp knife.
Slice each strawberry in half vertically.
Spread peanut butter on one or both sides of the bread.
Add jelly on top and spread until smooth.
Place one piece of bread on top of the other so that the peanut butter and jelly are in the middle.
Cut sandwich into four equal squares.
Pierce the middle of one square onto wooden skewer, sliding it down to the bottom.
Pierce a strawberry half through skewer and slide it down until it touches the first square. Repeat layers until each sandwich square has been slid onto the skewer.
Serve with the rest of the strawberry halves. Enjoy!
